Ssuuna Frank

Frank was born in Masaka, Central Uganda, discovered his passion for art from an early age. Driven by desire to create, he explored various mediums to find one that allowed him express himself comfortably. It became evident through his experiments that painting and collage were the mediums that resonated most with him.


In 2018 he started painting with acrylics, using this artistic outlet as a means to escape negative perceptions associated with unemployed youth. As Frank delved into painting, it became a transformative arcade from societal judgments.



Subsequently, he began selling his paintings, including portraits and depictions of wildlife. A pivotal came when
He met a Ugandan international mixed media artist Collin Sekajugo who mentored him, further refined Frank's artistic style and deepened his understanding of the contemporary art world.


His artistic palette is characterized by vibrant and bright colours infusing his paintings with energy, nature and liveliness, Frank's adept use of colour adds a dynamic and expressive dimension to his artwork, capturing attention and conveying a sense of vitality of connection.
